Field-tested and ultimately adopted for use by the Special Forces that train at Ft. Carson, Colorado. The Army and Marines in Alaska also tested them. The conclusion and ultimate recommendation is that this model mitten becomes the standard issue trigger finger mitten.

The mitten area is large enough for all the fingers. The index finger has a top section that can be uncovered and held out of the way with hook and loop for using a firearm, (or for you Photographers out there, it is a conveniant feature for your own kind of shots).

In cold conditions where work has to be done, the Renegade Mitten is ideal!

*Remember that mittens are much more efficient than gloves so that should be your choice if you are in winter conditions such as +25F or lower.

*All of the shell fabrics are 3-Ply Supplex¨ nylon, which is vapor permeable.

*The palms are leather that dries soft after being wet.

*The thumbs are articulated. This allows greater dexterity.

*The lining is the same vapor permeable nylon taffeta that is used in all our sleeping bags and clothing.
