The Wiggy's sleeping bag guarantee is for a lifetime of use. If a seam opens or the Lamilite insulation deteriorates (such as losing its loft or separating, clumping in one place or another), Wiggy’s will repair or replace your bag at no charge. However, we reserve the right to examine any returned sleeping bag and will make the decision whether the return is justified depending on the appearance of the bag, demonstrating whether it has been properly cared for or shows signs of abuse.
The Backpacker Sleeping Bag is a +30° F (approximately 0° C) rated mummy style bag. It is currently available in Urban Gray in three sizes:
When the FTRSS Overbag is added to the Backpacker the temperature rating becomes -10° F (approximately -20° C). When both bags are combined you have the Backpacker FRTSS.
I own 3 Wiggy's bags in various temp ratings. From the 12 year old 30° to the newer 0° bag, they rock! Storage convenience w/o sacrifice of warmth & density is a selling point in itself. Maintains heat when wet, found out the hard way and mildly inconvenienced that night. Also, Male teenager proof! 100% Quality & unfailing product.

This sleeping bag is good stuff - purchased to replace a useless Coleman bag. I've used this one at Palo Duro Canyon State Park and Big Bend State Park so far, both in the dead of winter with ice storms, and have been very pleased with it.
The zipper is robust - it definitely won't be failing anytime soon. I'm 5'9 / 210lbs, and the regular/wide is perfectly sized for me, as a reference point for sizing. Really robust insulation - This bag kept me comfortable down into the lower 20s. Springs back from compression like new. It's absolutely worth every ounce that it adds to the pack and every penny.
My only constructive criticism would be that I wish the stuff sack were of a slightly more robust material.
Thanks for creating such a quality product made the way it should be - that's hard to find these days.

Mr. Wiggy is a honest and good man who makes the BEST sleeping bags I ever used. I am concluding a long bike ride to North Carolina from Ohio and I used my Wiggy's 30 degree mummy bag. This bag kept me warm and comfortable on these chilly fall nights. I used my Backpacker bag also for backpacking. Most excellent. I made a good choice when I chose Wiggy's!

I was looking for a light, warm, compressible bag that would fit my 6'4" frame and give me a good solid three seasons of use in the Pacific Northwest, and I found it!
From having owned Wiggy's bags for almost twenty years I knew that the bag would hold up to moisture and the temperature rating would be accurate, but having had trouble in the past with cold feet and no shoulder room in other companies mummy sleeping bags, I was hesitant to move back into a mummy style bag. The Wiggy's bag has a large well insulated circular foot that kept my feet warm, and when I pulled down the hood with the drawstring I still felt comfortable, but I opened it back up because I did not need that much warmth. The bag is also wide enough for me to sleep on my side with my knees bent without feeling constricted or like I am pushing up against the bags seams or zipper.
Speaking of zippers (this bag gas a large full length draft tube) , I slept two nights in 40 degree weather with the zipper three quarters of the way down. I was wearing a pair of light wool boxer briefs and a light wool t-shirt and was never too warm or clammy the entire night. Another bonus is that my Regular / Regular size bag fits perfectly on my Big Agnes insulated inflatable sleeping pad. The combination of the bag and pad kept my side warm all night with no cold spots. Which is great because my bad hip and old knees really appreciated a warm full nights sleep.
I am telling all my friends they should get this bag and forgo the ridiculously high prices for "waterproof" down bags and get one that will hold up to the cold and damp day after day. For $135 with an amazing warranty this bag is a steal. It can stored in a stuff bag and can even be washed at home or on the road with no special additives or rinses!
If you are serious about hiking sleeping bags, get this bag. You will be warm, dry and never sorry that you did.
