The factory had 32 pair of boots that they consider seconds because the leather may be marred or does not exactly match in some areas. Otherwise the boots are no different than the absolute first quality.

I have 29 pair of the 10 inch boots and it breaks down to 9 pair of black and 20 pair of brown and 3 pair of chukka boots.

There is a size range that is mostly popular sizes.

They are $125.00 per pair delivered in the lower 48 states.

They will not come with a pair of socks as the regular first quality boots do. You will have to buy them separately.

SATURDAY’S ARTICLE

This morning I was thinking about the numbers of people involved with the selling of jackets advertised as waterproof and breathable and came to the realization that as a group they have no conscience. Since I believe it is widely known that these garments do not, cannot or ever will be able to function as advertised still sell them. if one who sells these garments knows they fail and still looks a customer straight in the face and tells that person they do work is as much a charlatan as the guy who makes the fabric.

Are these people any different than any other persons who are perpetuating a “confidence game” so to speak!

I still believe the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Protection Agency should be notified to look into having every company from the fabric or film suppliers to the garment manufacture and finally the retailer to prove in the field not from a laboratory that their product works. I know it cannot be done.
