No BS got a -50 mummy bag back in 98 or 99 for Y2K I gave up using blankets on my bed and have been using my bag every night except for a couple small burn holes it's almost like new best bags ever had a north face before it blew out in three years never had a problem with my Wiggys bag now I'm looking at getting another one for my bug out bag.

37.5 C is equal to 98.6 F. Since they are an American why didn’t they name their product 98.6 F? The core temperature of the human body is 98.6 degrees F. For clarification the skin surface is 91 degrees F. I do not know what their technology is.

The above paragraph which is from an article published in the on line magazine Apparel which I receive is just like the information that one might see on the label of a snake oil salesman’s bottle. Their technology whatever it happens to be does not do what they claim.

I can only assume the companies that they have sold this technology to are complicit snake oil salesman!

It is obvious to me that all snake oil salesmen who are concerned either have no knowledge of how the human body works or chose not to accept what they do know and therefore are more concerned with getting on board with the advertising program

The core temperature of the human body is 98.6 F (37.5 C) when you are in a relaxed state. When you become active the core temperature of your body increases! When this happens the human body starts to send the excess heat from the core to the skin surface and via the sweat glands more heat is sent via the pores as a vapor in order to maintain the 98.6 F core temperature. It is immaterial what you are wearing the human body will still react the same way as I have just described. So what does Cocona offer, only a story without substance. So what is the advancement? NOTHING!!!!!!!

I am continually amazed at the language companies conjure to state what they are offering to the general public. As I see it the bulk of the outdoor industry which entails garment companies to include hand wear and foot wear that make outrageous claims and unfortunately so many people want to believe what they read about these new materials so they buy the products made with them. Of course when they discover the product simply does not do what they expected they are out the money because the retailers will in most cases do not take it back. Retailers may very well tell you to take it up with the so called manufacturer, good luck!!
