Several years ago, shortly after I started selling the amazing lights, I was visited by a retired employee and her daughter. The daughter lived on the west coast of Florida so we spoke about sailing and other water sport activities, one being her and her husband’s passion for scuba diving. She told me they were part of a group that dove at night.
I inquired what lighting they had—head lamps for one, and light sticks as well. The primary use of the light sticks was to place them on the tanks so other people could see you. Each dive required a new light stick since once broken they would burn out and then be thrown away. When I heard this I said "here are my light sticks that never stop working." I explained how they work and she bought about 10 for her friends. That was 6 or 7 years ago and they are still going strong.
So, if you are a diver and dive at night these will be a one-time purchase and will continually work for many years versus the light sticks that you break for one-time use.
My production manager is a very active trout fisherman and one day about a week ago said we should make a poncho liner with a hole for your head and no hood. That said, I told him to make one and we will cost it. The end result is a poncho liner with a head opening and snaps on each side to create sleeves.
This new product is $66.00 and is available on the website starting today.
