I have owned a 1976 Mercedes Benz 450 SL for about 15 years and have not driven it very much for the past 7 years. It has been garaged its entire life.
It has always been serviced by Mercedes trained mechanics here in Grand Junction for which I am grateful. Any and all replacement parts are from Mercedes as there are no aftermarket parts to be had as far as I know.
It is in excellent mechanical condition and has never been in an accident. The interior and paint are original.
The market value is $17,000.00 however I will consider any reasonable offer. There are pictures on the web site for all to see.
I cannot imagine how these people in the outdoor industry can sleep at night knowing and I am sure they do that the chemicals used to cause materials to not burn leach off fumes that are dangerous to their customers’ health. On the Wiggy’s home page will be a statement stating that I do not use any fire retardant treated fabrics. There will also be a link to the article published July 7, 2019.
The honesty and integrity of the outdoor industry leaves a lot to be desired.
Did you know any company wanting to sell sleeping bags to REI must use the European rating system known as the EN or European Normal system? Whatever that is it has not worked in Europe so what makes the REI marketing people believe it will work in the U.S.A? Little do they know because if it doesn’t work for humans that live in Europe why should it work for humans that live in the U.S.A. or for that matter why it should work for humans living any place in the world.
Of course the REI folks believe in pulling the wool over the eyes of their customers something they have been doing for many years now.
Always ask what the temperature rating is in Fahrenheit and never listen to any one saying a clo rating and then ask to be shown proof that the bag actually has performed at the temperature for weeks on end. At REI you will only get placating responses.
