INSULATED CAGOULE LINER
Last week one of my customers who reside in upstate N.Y. called and made a request to get an insulated liner for his cagoule. This was a first for me. So I made for him. When I asked my production manager today to show it to me so I could take a picture of it, he said to my surprise it had already been shipped to the customer. The speed with which product even custom product is made always is a surprise.
I will have another one made so I can take a picture to put on the web site. While the first one made used the same materials that I use for the liner jacket and vest I am going to make the new one with a waterproof urethane coated fabric. The reason I will use the waterproof fabric will be if someone wants to use it without the cagoule over it. Even though it will be a stitch through quilted construction rain water short of hurricane strength will not penetrate very much.
It will be made the same sizes as the cagoule so if you happen to have a cagoule and want one just order the liner the same size as the cagoule. For those who are unfamiliar with the cagoule sizing, they are made large to fit over everything you are wearing and a backpack.
The color choices are tan and olive green. The insulation is the L-3 Lamilite. The cost is $200.00 delivered to any location in the continental USA.
LAST OF THE BLEMISHED BOOTS

Please call me if you want a pair.
The price is $90.00 per pair delivered to any location in continental USA.
DEFINITIONS
As many of my readers know I like to give definitions of words that are not used properly. Here is a word that has been used quite often by the generations younger than myself that I by accident came across and believe it applies to a subject I have been writing about for years. I read it in the “Glossary of Objectivist Definitions by Ayn Rand”.
ABSOLUTE: in this context means necessitated by the nature of existence and therefore, unchangeable by human (or any other) agency.
The idea that materials combined by a lamination process can be altered to function in a manner that is identical to the wat they function as independent materials changes the nature of the materials. Materials that are woven in and of themselves are by the very nature, i.e. their construction is vapor permeable. Independent Teflon film is also a vapor permeable material by its nature, how it is made. When these materials are combined with a liquid adhesive each of the materials is altered in a manner that fills the spaces between the yarns of the woven material and fills the holes of the Teflon material. Therefore the combination of the two materials does not function as each material does on its own.
What becomes “absolute” is the destruction of the vapor permeable characteristics of the two materials as a result of the method by which they are combined.
I find it remarkable all the laboratories in the world make the same bogus claim. I wonder if any of the boot manufacturers have a laboratory, you never hear of any boot factory claiming they have tested the materials that they use in the manufacturer of their boots etc. I have never heard of any.
I also wonder if any of the employees of the boot companies located in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Michigan wearing these boots have ever gone to management to express having cold feet. Even if some did I do not believe upper management would care. They just tow the company line.
I see another absolute; DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS!!!
