Because the military is converting all camouflage to Multicam, there is now a surplus of Marine Corps MARPAT and Army Universal Camouflage (ACU) materials available. When I was told about it, I requested samples (see pictures). The price was extraordinarily low so I bought it—all of it, several thousand yards. When I put pencil to paper (I still do that when costing products), I came up with the following pricing for the Ultra Light & Super Light sleeping bags:
Ultra Lights, regardless of size, are $120.00 each and the Super Lights are $140.00 each. They come with standard stuff sacks, a pillow and free delivery within the lower 48 states until the materials are gone.
While I say Christmas special, if there is adequate materials for me to produce past Christmas, I will. These materials also guarantee that I will be able to keep the price of the liner jackets, liner vests and the various poncho liners at their current low prices as well.
I will also figure pricing for the sweater and vest with this materials which will save money versus the Supplex which will be posted on the website as well.
They like all the "big" companies talk the talk but do not do the walk when it comes to service. I have yet to get a return call or e mail from them explaining how the pressure is increased in a garment made with their neoshell material. And I do not ever expect a response because what they have claimed is as bogus a claim as all the companies that claim water-proof breathable.
