The other day a fellow came in looking for a warm weather bag to put in a pannier on his motorcycle. So, I pulled out the All Purpose Summer Bag for him to see.
He then asked how small it will compact, so, I gave him the medium compression stuff sack. The dimensions he came to were 8 inches in diameter and 9 inches high. Give it some muscle and it will probably get shorter.
This bag is a good bug-out bag for anyone who is putting together a bug-out kit. It could stay in the compression stuff sack for an indefinite period of time without losing any of its loft which means insulating capabilities. Water is not a problem since the nylon and Lamilite can't absorb any while in the compression stuff sack and therefore no mildew will develop.
If you are searching for a light weight, highly compactible, summer weight sleeping bag look no further than this all purpose summer weight sleeping bag. it should also be noted that it is only made in the long wide body size.
The cost with a standard stuff sack is $125.00 and to swap out the standard stuff sack for a compression stuff sack is another $15.00.
THURSDAY'S ARTICLE
A friend who has been in the textile business for 43 years wrote me that he was also insulted by what the fools said. He also said that the population of Amsterdam must have much smarter in the 1700's versus today.
