Enjoying my Ducksback jacket. It was a frigid 68 degrees in Honolulu It was a rare opportunity to wear my jacket this morning. I love the heavy duty zipper on it. When I read reviews of other popular brands of jackets I often see complaints of crappy zippers. If you're going to pay a premium price for a jacket there's no excuse for a substandard zipper. Thanks for such a great well-made product made in the USA. I can't wait for this pandemic to end so I can take this jacket traveling abroad. The material this jacket is made with is truly high end with a luxurious feel and truly water resistant. My daughter bought a high end jacket for a trip to Italy and she told me the jacket completely drenched out in a first time exposure in the rain . So much for the "water-resistant" label from this well-known retailer. Even though they offered a refund, you don't want to find out the product doesn't perform as advertised after you take it on the overseas trip.

I am sorry Peter did not mention the other brands, but I am happy for his short story.
I've been wearing this skiing for some time now. It replaces a wool hat or helmet over a wool balaclava. We just had our first sub-zero since I bought it. I was surprised that a light orlon balaclava covering my face was all I needed under this balaclava to keep me warm at -2F. Five knot wind gusts had no effect.

i am not surprised about Charles reaction.
thank you.
About 12 or maybe 15 years ago I produced 10,000 super light sleeping bags for the Aussie army. Last week Kok found about 100 of the shells. they are all olive green and long wide body size. they all have a green break-a-way zipper that was sent to me. the final difference is a 6x8 inch pocket where we would normally place the Wiggy label.
The cost is $145.00 with a standard stuff sack, for $15.00 additional you can get a compression stuff sack and of course they will all have a pillow.
