I have three different Wiggys' bags including the Ultima Thule and I think they're the greatest bags ever - and I use them in Alaska! I have to say I've never once given a thought to the flammability issue. I'm glad someone did.
Hello Jerry,
“...burning down makes a wonderful odor” ... LOL. A Wiggys Classic quotation,
no doubt. A highly entertaining video from your outdoor laboratory.
Received my first order late Friday and noticed one item was omitted from the
order. Called the order line and one pair of purple booties are now on their
way to me. No questions asked. This is the type of customer service that
confirms top notch business integrity.
Thank you.
Best Regards,

THE VIDEO
I really enjoyed making this video because it is the only one that any company making sleeping bags will ever be made. The other companies out there that “claim” to make sleeping bags but really make the “no sleep sleeping bags” will never do one. The reason they will never do one is because if the burn any bag they will find that their bags still burn when the flame source is removed.
Of course I am reading on the web site of other companies that they are using polyester cloth which not only burns but drips. These companies do not realize that the nylon is from Nomex which is a non-flammable material used for race car drivers underwear as well as the underwear worn by fighter pilots.
Anyway the video is up on the web site www.wiggys.com on the home page.
One thing I noticed is that I do not move as I did years ago. I have video of myself at the age of 4 or 5, my father bought a move camera way back so there is movie pictures of me ever since so I can see for myself how I am aging. It must be terrible for actors to see how they are aging especially popular actors who make lots of pictures; they can see it day to day almost.
I hope you find it educational and of value.
