Now imagine that you know they are making a mistake and the only avenue left to you if you want to put your insulation on the market is to become a manufacturer of said products. Your business is selling insulation incorporated in the various products you believed the manufacturers of those products would use it for. So you become a manufacturer.

The research and development project involves aerogel and the simply do not know from past R and D at DUPONT CORPORATION that fiber thinner than 2.75 denier is less efficient than heavier denier such as the 5.5 denier used for me. The aerogel is a fraction of one denier. Structurally the aerogel cannot be made as a continuous filament as the polyester fiber used to make the insulation I use.
