just incredible testimonial

I was just out walking Cookie and when I came in and found the testimonial below. Talk about making my day.

Dear Jerry,

Yesterday here in the Midwest, I got up at 5am, put on my Wiggy's fishnets, my lamalite socks, leather lamalite ( same as they came out of the box- untreated), my motorcycle chaps, jacket and gloves. I had a loose cotton shirt over the fishnets and a fleece polyester liner. It was 39 degrees, misting rain, 20 mph wind.

I rode in that weather on my Harley for 4 hours one way on an errand I was running for a family member. On the way back, temp just below 50 degrees, very little rain.

I'm sharing a Midwest weather forecast so much as I am sharing that before my lamalite purchases, no matter what I did - wool, polar weight garments ( the expensive stuff from Cabelas - the silver impregnated thermals), thinsulate, wool socks whatever and you name it. This would have been a cold, cruddy trip.

The outside of the boots- wet. Well, yeah - that's because they are untreated. Feet- bone dry, not sweaty, WARM!!

Core of my body - bone dry. I could expect hat with the leather jacket - it's the exact thing the Chicago Motor cops wear; I bought it from Taylor's Leather works in Tennessee. But the foundation of this account is - fishnets- kept me DRY- NO sweat which for the conditions would have been inevitable otherwise. It's a clammy, crappy ride at 39-55 degrees in rain. With you Wiggy's fishnets - worn per your recommendation with a loose overgarment - WARM, DRY.

I will be ordering wind pants soon to complete the total package and probably a ducks back garment for a liner or addition.

The only people who will have as good a day as me are all the residents of South Carolina. If the boys team wins today it will probably be the first time the girls and boys play for the NCAA title ever. If each team does win the title and especially if the boys play UNC the state will close down for a year long party. I am rooting for them as I like to see new teams win which is always good for the sport..
