Today I learned that outdoor research llc does not have a GSA contract.

There is a GSA website that has a list of every GSA contract holder in the country and probably some out of the country listed in alphabetical order. So, I looked in the “o” file and found that I could not find outdoor research llc listed. For my own information I also looked up Wiggy’s since at one time I did have a contract. I cancelled it and Wiggy’s does not appear.

The reason this is important to know is it maybe illegal for the government to give an order, contract to any company above either $3000.00 or $5000.00 dollars when the company does not have a GSA contract.

Over the years since I cancelled my contract, but I have had small orders given to me when the buyer paid with a credit card. I think it started out at the $1500.00 level and has since been increased as noted above. The contract given to outdoor research llc is for $63,300.00. I do not believe it will be paid by credit card.

It is one more piece of evidence as I see it that I have given to the inspector general. He is a cagey guy. Yesterday when I sent him an email, he acknowledged receipt. When I sent him the second one with more important than the first, he did not acknowledge receipt of it. I decided that I would now send all correspondence to him via Federal Express and it must be signed for. People can always say I never got the email.

I have a good friend who served 25 years in the army and he was assigned as an IG at one point. He told me the UG had to follow the law and investigate. He can decide but if you disagree you can take it to the base commander.

Obviously, I will do nothing more until a decision is made. However, if I surface more information about this award I will let him know.
