more outdoor industry stupidity

Taken back by the price, yes the socks sell for $24.99 a pair. Imagine paying to initiate having cold feet, putting your feet in a position of developing sores and who knows what else. I am constantly being convinced that the so called product creators of these companies are flat out stupid.

They in my opinion have no thinking or reasoning capacity; they are sheep following the pied piper. They have no comprehension of what they are doing. Either they do not know, understand or even care to know that the materials they are working with do not, never have or ever will work as was described to them in the first place.

Recently I wrote an article “stupidity reigns supreme in the outdoor industry” about a Swedish company making a waterproof breathable sock and why it is a disaster for anyone wearing them. At that time I had no idea that there was an American company making one as well. I read about them on an Australian military supplier’s web site. This is a company that I dealt with at one time but will not ever again deal with them.

Rocky wants to make sure the sweat from feet of people wearing the socks and boots never gets out of the boots. The retention of all of the moisture is a significant indicator of how quickly the outer layer of your skin on the bottom of your feet will start to separate from the layer above it and how quickly and easily you will get blisters.

The outdoor industry is generally populated by people starting at the top level of companies with people who are fixated on one thing and one thing only; ‘the bottom line” financials. They for all intents and purposes do not know a thing about the products that their companies are fabricating, they do not know anything about the materials used for fabricating these products and ultimately they do not know if the products will actually work for whatever the intended purpose is; and they do not care. This attitude seeps downward to the lowest levels of each company. Of course those at the lower levels in my opinion have no capacity to evaluate what they are selling because they have never learned to think. They are the sheep following the pied piper and their peers are in the same boat so they will buy this crap and when it does not perform they just chalk it up to par for the course, why because they never seem to buy a product that lives up to its reputation (except if they buy a Wiggy product).

Do you want to know why Rocky like the rest of the charlatans out there will not contact me; because they have no way of proving what they are advertising on their web site about this product or any other Gore-Tex lined product they sell.

So if you are desirous of unhealthy feet Gore-Tex lined footwear is what you want and Rocky will be happy to serve you!!! This statement holds true for any other materials made and sold on the planet that makes the same claims, Gore just happened to be the first.
