I APPRECIATE EVERY ONE OF THESE TESTIMONIALS THAT I RECEIVE

I bought an Antarctic rectangular bag , a super light ftrss , and an Ultima Thule mummy.I’ve used them for the last 4 years from Louisiana duck, turkey and deer hunts , all the way to New Mexico ,Montana and Wyoming elk hunting and salmon fishing in Washington state . I sleep cold natured. I’ve had military surplus bags, Coleman bags, marmots, north face and many others. NOTHING beats a Wiggy’s and with me fixing to have to buy 7 more for family members , I'm not about to waste my money on some box store junk to go camping in fall , winter or early spring conditions ,ANYWHERE except in a Wiggy’s bag . I even took my over bag to the Philippines last year to sleep on top of. Everyone wanted to BORROW it.....so it’s definitely safe to say if I'm buying new bags and certain other gear; it’s getting bought from WIGGYS. Except for mil surplus heavy wool blankets, in a hot tipi or hammocking. These bags are all I ever use or will EVER need. Period, anywhere....thank you Wiggy’s, for making a nice night’s sleep a great night’s sleep.

Thank you Carl!!!!

THE URBAN DUCKSBACK ANTARCTIC PARKA

Recently I made a multilayer garment for military purposes. It contained the following; an Antarctic parka using an L-8 ounce Lamilite versus the normal L-12 ounce Lamilite and a zip in L-3 ounce liner and a zip in L-3 ounce liner vest. When all three are used as one the temperature capability is about -50 degrees F.

I decided to make the Antarctic parka with the L-8 Lamilite insulation and the DUCKSBACK shell. It is available in the following colors; black, olive green, Wiggy’s royal blue and tan. It will not have the coyote ruff unless someone wants to order it special. All of the information as to price will be published on the web site this week. I expect the price to be about $300.00.

As for warmth, the Barron Grounds parka is lined with the L-6 Lamilite and is temperature rated to 0 degrees F. I expect the L-8 Lamilite version will comfortably perform at -20 degrees F.

Over the years I have sold a number of city dwellers the Antarctic parka and I am sure more would have bought them but for the -50 degree capability. This one is more suited. I would have liked to have one when I lived in Manhattan for winter wear. Not only does one have to deal with the wind but the humidity which can be worse than the wind during the winter months.

Of course the fact that the shell fabric is DUCKSBACK means that no moisture can get in from rain or melting snow.

COMMENTS ABOUT THE RECENT NEWSLETTERS

The primary comment is your insulation is good or better than the rest. Thank you one and all who comment since each of you has experienced the other stuff and now are continuing to experience Lamilite.
