A NEW STORY TESTIMONIAL
Jerry,
I’ve always subscribed to the axiom that “a man with experience is never at the mercy of a man with a theory.” I sir, am a man with experience in using your products. I ordered from you directly, four one hundred inch XLW Antarctic mummy bags for myself and three friends for a Brooks Range caribou hunt in 2006. These bags were highly recommended by Brad Salsa of “We Guide Alaska.com.” These bags performed exactly as advertised. No moisture buildup at all. In fact, our body moisture passed through the bags and pooled in the egg crate indentations of our foam sleeping pads. Yet no moisture was present inside the bags! Total dry comfort. I was so impressed I gave my bag to a young hunter about to go on his first caribou hunt who had only minimal equipment. I subsequently ordered a custom Antarctic rectangular bag, one hundred inches long and forty-four inches wide. However, you sent a regular size bag but you offered to replace it without hesitation. I sold it to a smaller friend of mine instead and you shipped me my 44x100 custom bag. That is customer service. I have ordered three other bags for my grandchildren and my wife. I’ve also bought six of your sweater jackets. Since I’m a big man, I had you customize mine with extralong arms. I’ve never had a jacket that didn’t bind me until now. My daughter in law was so amazing with her sweater that she actually asked me if there was a hidden “furnace” somewhere in the jacket.
So, to all the internet naysayers, I say to them, “you people are so negative that you wouldn’t give a dime to see a piss ant eat a bale of hay.”
I have the experience they simply have theories.

Roger many thanks for the story. Tell your daughter in law its magic. I am unfamiliar with the expression about a “a piss ant eating a bale of hay,” probably a farm expression. That said I very much appreciate the story.
Here is another testimonial worth reading.
Just a quick review, this past
winter we were caught in a winter storm that started with Temps around 40f and
rain with winds around 20-30mph. The Temps dropped that night below freezing
and with all our gear wet I was in the grips of hypothermia. I used your Ultima
Thule and went to sleep praying I would wake up and I not only slept warm but
the next morning I was dry. We go into weather that is deadly to train skills
and test gear and I can say your gear is highly recommended so much so I
purchased the outer bag at your shop last week. Keep making great gear.
James
Happy to report receiving orders for calf jackets.
Chemical sensitivity
Recently I have received many calls from people asking about chemicals in our sleeping bags and I have had to reassure them all of our sleeping bags are made with pure finished fabrics that do not have chemicals applied to them, that said I have been reading the magazines online that I get from the outdoor industry with articles about chemical companies producing more chemicals that go into the textiles that adorn our bodies.
And you wonder why how many people or chemically sensitive today. When I was growing up in the 1940s fifties and sixties and possibly the seventies people were not complaining about being chemically sensitive.
People are not born with chemical sensitivity when you're exposed to a vast number of chemicals eventually become extremely sensitive.
I think it should be apparent that number of people who are chemically sensitive today is very extensive compared to the number of people who were chemically offensive 50 years ago. The increase in chemicals that we are subjected to just keep growing.
In the clothing industry the volume of chemicals applied to the fabrics made into garment’s that we wear just keeps increasing. The chemical companies just don't understand the chemicals will leach from the fabrics into the person wearing a garment. The leaching process occurs when the moisture coming out of your body causes the chemicals to just dissipate from the fabric. When this happens chemicals can now be absorbed into your body. Chemical sensitivity is now increased and your body has a new chemical to work on. The cycle of presenting a new chemical is ongoing so chemical sensitivity will continue to increase.
It is an impossible task to try and convince textile mills not to use some of these chemicals talk to the manufacturers to not use materials containing these chemicals. So, I believe chemical sensitivity we'll just continue rise for years to come.
We at Wiggy’s will continue to use materials that are not chemically treated.
