THE ANSWER
Jerry,
What’s the answer to Corona Virus...or any disease? Cleanliness wash often.
If people who wear the tight-fitting coats without Lamilite wash their apparel often, it will breakdown and lose loft thus they are cold and out lots of money.
As I am writing this, 23 minutes ago my Wiggy's pull over was washed and will be dry in the next 5 minutes, then it’s off to walk my springer spaniel Buddy.
The difference is my Wiggy’s parka passed the test...washed and dried in under 30 minutes and with full loft restored.
Take the test...Wiggy’s always wins.
BTW...I still wash my 1990 Wiggy’s sleeping bag 2-3 times a season!!! It looks new except clean and fresh smelling...with full loft!

Thank you, Jeff.
As well as using the oil of oregano if you get a raspy throat Jeff is reiterating probably the best advise for warding off any virus. I also appreciate his giving Wiggy’s a plug.
Last week I was speaking with a friend right after the sports teams and associations suspended all sporting events and asked him if he spoke with his dad, he said no why? One lives in Alaska ant the other New Orleans. His dad is a bookie so I asked what he would be doing now that he to is put out of work? He didn’t think about it until that moment.
This morning I turned on the espn sports network program and they were interviewing a guy in Las Vegas who said that all sports gambling has come to a halt. Essentially it is worldwide. The coronavirus is doing what Fiorello LaGuardia tried to do in the 1930’s (?) without axes in New York City. The question now is does Las Vegas have enough slot machines or a lot of guys will suddenly find they have more money than they know what to do with, nah.
In Europe lives are being saved since they are not playing soccer, in that manner no one is being trampled when games end.
Life all over the world id being disrupted except in Russia. I haven’t heard of any coronavirus cases there, but then I do not follow the news period. I found it repetitiously boring years ago. I do constantly receive emails from Russian women who want that special man to bring them to the USA. Maybe it will now stop.0
I was born at the outset of the USA entering WW2 and grew up with rationing not that I knew it, I heard about it from my parents and their friends when they spoke of it and since the war ended I we never had rationing again, but that may be taking place now.
I saw a guy at the Safeway gas pumps filling 5-gallon gas cans that he was putting in his small car. I know that gas is cheaper today than it has been in probably 3 or 4 years, but give me a break man, you are becoming a bomb. I doubt that anyone would say anything to him.
So, we are starting to see irrational behavior. People are hording which will cause rationing. One person told me they were in a store and wanted to buy two of something but were told they could only have one. How widespread that is in Grand Junction I do not know but if it is widespread all over the USA people will get angry because until now, they could buy as many of an item as they wanted.
While writing this article I received the following e mail and thought it interesting to add.
I read this article in Scientific American a few years ago. No one is talking about this situation lasting for months and months, but it may. You may be right about needing those winter sleeping bags.
"Based on patterns of past pandemics, experts expect that once a new strain breaks loose, it will circle the globe in two or three waves, each potentially lasting several months but peaking in individual communities about five weeks after its arrival. The waves could be separated by as long as a season: if the first hit in springtime, the second might not begin until late summer or early fall. Because meaningful amounts of vaccine tailored to the pandemic strain will not emerge from factories for some six months, government planners are especially concerned with bracing for the first wave."--Preparing for a Pandemic, Scientific American, November 2005”

Garth thank you.
I am a great believe in getting as much information about subjects as is possible so I can make the best decision that I can.
I was out for a while and drove around town and it seemed to me that all was as it would be on a Sunday except for the large grocery stores I suppose. I did not stop to see if people were cleaning the shelves.
Just like the gas prices going down the merchandise that is coming in from China will probably be reduced before it is unloaded from the container ships. I went into the rei web site and typed in the search box “sale items” and I received several items, the number was 12045 products on sale, 30 to 50 percent off. The same probably holds true for bean and the rest of the retailers in the industry. Where will it end?
