LAMILITE PACK BOOTS OR SUNWALKER II | ||||||||||||||
|
ROBERT F.
I made these pack boots probably 12 years ago and knew they were far better than what was on the market.
The reason was the Lamilite insert that I call the “SUNWALKER II”. It has the l-12 Lamilite for the entire upper.
If you own pack boots with felt inserts you have cold feet because the insert absorbs and retains all the moisture coming out of your foot which you should know but if you don’t it is more coming out of your feet than any other part of your body.
Chances are you own 2 or more pairs of these felt inserts that only keep your feet cold. Throw them away and get one pair of SUNWALKER II’ s and forever have warm dry feet.
If you need pack boots, I recommend that you buy the least expensive pair, throw away the felt inserts and get a pair of SUNWALKER II’s, so you will not have cold feet from the get-go of wearing these pack boots.
When they wear out get rid of them and put the SUNWALKER II pair in the new pack boots.
Robert, thank you for your informative letter. You have worn your pack boots far more often than I have mine, so what you have said has much more credence than what have said.
It is now the cold season, and many hunters are or will be going into tree stands or blinds and they are wearing a variety of footwear to keep their feet warm. I can simplify and end your cold feet problem.
I have all the personal experience over 10 years of using these two products in the conditions I have noted when I hunted from a base camp at 12000 feet and went to 12500 to do the hunting. If the truth is known I wish I could be doing it again. There is no hunting as good as hunting on horseback. Sadly, those days are gone for me.
But the experience did give me the opportunity to learn how well all my products performed in sub-zero temperatures. There is nothing more important than keeping your feet warm.
I could have listed more items, but you already know what I would say.
Happy hunting.
