Yep!! I agree with you (((100%))) I was in the military 28 years and experienced all that crap that you talk about gortex, thinsulate, bla, bla, bla. Froze my fanny and toes numerous times!!

My first experience with Wiggys was when I got issued a Wiggys mommy bag special warfare. I think it was around 1993-1995 that mommy bag still looks as good as the day it was issued to me and still works like it was brand new!!Wiggy’s the best gear I’ve ever owned and manufactured in the Great USA! Michael is but just one of many thousands who suffered the same fate or better said had the same experience. These materials were used in the clothing and boots they were issued. The reality is there are still today companies getting orders for items such as boots and handwear made with goretex and thinsulate. Sleeping bags; no, it is all Climashield and also parkas I believe. We still sell to the SF groups.

I take great pride as well as pleasure reading accounts of those with experience supporting what I write. How many presidents of their companies have the pleasure of receiving letters like this? Not many, I am sure. How many can unequivocally state that the product they produce based on their knowledge of the materials available today allows for the best product of its type a SLEEPING BAG to be the best ever produced in the entire history of sleeping bag manufacturing dating back to about 1850 in Europe, they are still in business, Anjulack [?] or something like that.

While I made all that existed before me and since me obsolete, I do not believe any insulating medium [material] will ever replace the Climashield. I believe two companies tried to make a continuous filament batting but failed because they do not know what they where doing. Things look simply, until you try to make them.

Michael is not the first to tell me he has been using my issue bag since 1993/5 and it still performs. I had one customer here last summer from Oregon who had two bags he bought when I was still in S.C. that was 1987/8.

When you buy a Wiggy bag you can use it daily for a month or more without it is failing you. No other so called sleeping bag sold can duplicate that use.

Letters like Michael’s give me paus to want to stand on my soap box and say [not the first time] that if you want a sleeping bag that performs and will do so for years to come you want a Wiggy bag, nothing else will do.
