TESTIMONIALS NEVER GET OLD AND I NEVER TIRE OF THEM
Dear Wiggy:
I live in Alaska and my son lives in Alabama. He drew a nonresident moose tag here this year. As we assessed our gear, a sleeping bag came just after the tent. We chose to buy your Super Light 0 degree. I got the regular wide boat foot in the Marpat . Sleep socks, pillow, poncho & top-down compression sack. Son got reg wide in gray color with same add ons. Just over $200 each.
We spent 7 nights on a fly in trip and the rain only let up for 2 mornings for 5-6 hours. Temperatures are in the low 40s during the daytime and upper twenties to low thirties at nighttime with a little ice. The tent did its job, and your bags exceeded the task, and I will recommend it as the opportunity arises. We looked at down bags that were $1,000 more. I had heard of your bags and researched what you say. I’m going into my 15th winter here and I think you are dead on about your approach to insulation. I’ll be in touch soon to order the fish net long johns.
Best,
Milton Barker
Have a nice day! ?
As I have noted a few years ago I have a collection of letters [ testimonials] received before there was email. One day I reviewed some of them and had them put on the website in the newsletter section. It was overwhelming for me to do that again, so they sit in a box near my desk well over one hundred that I periodically look at. Maybe one day I’ll hire someone to scan them so I can add them to the existing and growing list.
Milton’s comments I have heard or read numerous times. Actually, in the 38 years I have been making Wiggy’s bags 36 years in Grand Junction and two years in S.C. So, the number of sleeping bags sold exceeds 100,000 and if I have received close to three thousand testimonial letters, three percent is enormous. I do not know how many are on the web site there, but I know there are 242 pages of ten testimonials per page and 145 newsletters that each have one or two testimonials as a part of the newsletter such as the one from Milton Barker.
I take great pride in knowing so many people have taken the time to send me their comments.
Tragically when I had made the effort to share with the U.S. MILITARY, the same knowledge, information I have shared with the general public the response from the military excluding the AF survival kits in aircraft, has been diametrically opposed to what have done based upon my knowledge.
Aside from my effort to kill the aerogel I have give up trying to educate the military. The aerogel deal is focused on the AF so that is my motivation. If my effort ends in failure, I’ll let you know.
I look at the population of the country and I see a potential three hundred million customers. And with the help of the number of Wiggy customers out there promoting Wiggy’s for which I am incredibly grateful Wiggy’s will continue to be successful.
Thanks to one and all and I hope your team wins tomorrow.
