THE SLEEPING BAG YOU NEED WHEN HUNTING IN ALASKA OR ANY PLACE ELSE
Hey Jerry
I bought a few bags from you this past August for me and my guys. We went to Alaska for a hunt and wanted to let you know they were fantastic. Everyone was extremely satisfied with the bags!

Having read Jeremy’s email, you now know why we sell more sleeping bags in the state of Alaska as well as people who go to Alaska to hunt than all other companies in the world combined for the past 20 years or longer each year.
When I first started offering my bags into the Alaskan market, I found out very quickly there was little if any competition. I found out that Alaskans knew that down bags were useless in Alaska. They knew that the down had a love affair with water and sucked it up as soon as it was next to the down, but I know there are guys who believe that they can use a down bag in a moist environment such as Alaska is and keep it dry. They refuse to believe and understand that Alaska is one of the wettest places on earth.
The stories I was told by guys who worked the pipeline construction was incredible. They were initially issued eddie bauer down parkas that were soaked in 3 or 4 days. So, more were ordered to rotate with the soaked parkas which were in dryers. I never heard a word about sleeping bags because they were apparently put in heated huts. I believe the bauer parkas and sleeping bags used I Alaska were probably saturated very quickly but no one complained as far as I know to bauer. But i do know the current bauer company does not make the bags that were made years ago, because they know they aren't very good.
I could continue but I prefer to end by saying Lamilite makes all other so called insulation obsolete if they worked at all.
