THE TRAVELING BAGS
BEING
FROM PHOENIX AZ. , I HAVE MADE MANY DRIVES TO ALASKA,SEVEN ALTOGETHER , TO
VISIT MY DAUGHTER WHO LIVES IN EAGLE RIVER, ON TWO TRIPS IN THE 90s I WENT TO
PRUDOE BAY IN THE WINTER, ALWAYS CAMPED JUST NORTH OF COLD FOOT, AT 40 DEG.
BELOW, MY WIGGYS THAT I PURCHASED KEPT ME COMFORTABLE,
IT CAME WITH TWO BAGS THAT GO INSIDE EACH OTHER AND A PILLOW
BEEN DEER AND ELK HUNTING IN COLORADO AND NORTHERN AZ.AND NEVER HAD TO USE THE
TWO BAGS TOGETHER
THE ONLY TIME I NEEDED BOTH WAS IN ALASKA, THE BAGS ARE STILL AS GOOD AS NEW,
ON ONE TRIP I WENT TO LOOK FOR THE FACTORY IN
GIRDWOOD...GAVE UP AND HAD A WONDERFUL STEAK AT THE DOUBLE MUSKIE.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING A GREAT SLEEPING BAG....
I AM 79 YEARS OLD NOW AND WILL BE MAKING MY LAST TRIP TO ALASKA THIS MAY, AS MY
DAUGHTER IS MOVING TO WASHINTON STATE ,WIDBY ISLAND
I HOPE THAT THE CANADIAN BORDER WILL BE OPEN ?

Finally, I Have a Sleeping Bag That Is Warm Enough for Me.
Hi
Jerry and Co,
I have now tried the superlight sleeping bag and the ground pad over 7 days of
camping, in two trips.
The sleeping bag is the best I have ever used. For the first time in my life
(and I have been camping/sailing for more than half a century) I have a
sleeping bag that is warm enough for me. With every bag I have had before, I
needed fleece liners and/or a heavy woolen blanket as well. I have learned to
mistrust what manufacturers and magazine reviewers have said about sleeping
bags. This is why I asked for a Superlight, even though Jerry initially
suggested I get an Ultralight. Now, having used the Superlight, I reckon
Wiggy's can be trusted, and I probably would have been fine with an Ultralight.
Perhaps I will get one later, for lightweight trips in the non-Winter months.
I have lived and camped in Sweden, where the climate is, I think, not unlike
where you are, with low temperatures in winter, but basically a dry cold. Here
in Scotland, we do not get the actual temperatures as low (except for the
mountains in winter), but the cold is damp and penetrating. I am now confident
that I have an ideal sleeping bag for my purposes.

I
bought a pair of boots with laminate liner from Wiggy’s. It’s the best pair of
boots I've ever had. I see you don't sell them anymore. Would you tell me who
manufactured the boots and how I can purchase another pair?
Everyone I know notices all my Lamilite socks. I encourage them to buy them.
Sincerely,
Karyn Fankhouser
I told Karyn to look for a good all leather boots absent of goretex and Thinsulate and just wear the Lamilite socks in them. Actually, I have told a few hundred the same thing ever since I no longer had boots made for me. there are several brands available, and most are made in the USA.
We still have a few of our Antarctic parkas available if anyone wants to acquire the warmest parka in the world. Once they are gone, they will never be made again.
VACUUM PACKING SPECIAL
For years many have called about our vacuum packing sleeping bags but were turned away by the cost. I am running a special to vacuum pack any bag in a 13x13 square. The thickness will vary from two inches to five inches.
An example would be two inches for a Super Light or five inches for an Antarctic bag.
If you want to have a survival bag in the smallest space as we supply the Air Force this is your chance.
