Thank you for talking with me earlier today. Here is my testimonial.

My husband and I are planning an extensive hiking adventure. Our research led us to Wiggy’s website. We watched the videos. The information changed our thoughts on which products to purchase. The first item to arrive was a sleeping bag. I tried it out. I was amazed! I typically have cold feet, so when I would get ready for bed, I used to heat up cloth tubes that I had sewn and filled with rice or groats. I had done this for many years! Prior to making these tubes of grain, I used an electric blanket. When I first got into Wiggy’s sleeping bag, I was amazed at how quickly I warmed up. I have never experienced this kind of warmth before without my extraordinary ritual or electric blanket. I have had down comforters, wool, and synthetic blankets. Nothing beats the comfort of Wiggy’s sleeping bag!

My husband ordered a pair of Wiggy’s socks. They look weird as can be. My husband figured out how to get them into his shoes. Within minutes, he began to exclaim that his feet felt SO good. A few minutes later, he said it again, with more enthusiasm. Then he said that his feet never felt so good and that his feet were very happy. He has had a problem with fungal toes, which I now realize is due to the years of having moisture trapped in his socks and shoes. I am anticipating that over time, his toes will heal up, thanks to Wiggy’s socks.

We are both talking about purchasing additional products to keep us comfy on our 4-season hiking adventure. We are completely thrilled to have discovered the best products available!

Theresa has brought up an interesting subject, foot problems that her husband has been living with for quite some time I believe; fungal toes. A number of years ago the U.S. Marine Corps did a study of why so many Marines were developing fungus on the feet and they discovered it was because of wearing footwear that trapped the moisture in the Marines boots. This led to a company in Maine getting funding to make a boot dryer that the Marine could carry into the field. It never worked as far as I know. It also led me to make a boot dryer that does work.

What the Marines neglected to understand is that when you wear wool socks that retain moisture via absorption and boots that have goretex in them the moisture has no ability to escape from the boot so the wearer is open to develop fungal sores.

To the best of my knowledge almost every solicitation for footwear requires goretex. Almost all of the socks purchased by the military seem to be wool. The end result is always the same soldiers get fungal sores on their feet.

We tax payers are paying for the boots in the first place, then we tax payers are paying the medical bills to heal the sores.

All of this can be eliminated if the boots issued not only did not have a bogus waterproof breathable entity glued in them but did have the Lamilite lining in them and they the soldiers were issued Lamilite socks. Problem solved. Will this happen, not likely in the fore see able future.

So Theresa’s husband may very well see healing and if so I hope they write to me so I can publish his experience and those who do not have foot sores but do wear Lamilite socks as well as Lamilite boots will not get any.
