THE TESTIMONIALS JUST KEEP COMING
Dear Jerry,
I have been meaning to send you an email for a while now to say how great I think your sleeping bags are. I backpack in and camp in the White Mountains in New Hampshire (usually in the Presidential’s mountain range) every January and February (and sometimes other months too) with my buddies and we go no matter what the weather. Most of us have Wiggy’s bags (I have the zero degree bags and the outer bag for -40) as we all feel they are bullet proof and no matter how bad things get we can always climb in our sleeping bags and be warm. I have been going for 7 years now and am still the newbie. The other 4 have been going for an average of 25 years each. The coldest I have seen is -30F and super windy (President’s Day weekend 2015). Another reason I love my bag is that I can put anything that gets damp or wet in with me (at least anything that is not GoreTex which I think is an overrated fabric and never seems to dry out) and by morning it always seems to be dry. I am hoping to get my girlfriend to go with me on warmer trips and recently bought her a bag for her birthday. Anyway, thanks for making such great gear.

ALASKA RANGE PARKA WITH HOOD
As of today all models of the Alaska Range parka will come with a L-3 zip in liner. The cost for this addition is $25.00. The reason that I am doing this is due to an increase in orders specifically for the Alaska Range Parka made of the DUCKSBACK fabric.
Many are ordering it with the L-3 liner that does zip in and I believe if the garment has a hood it should also be insulated. It is easier for me to just include the insulated hood with the parka than have inventory since the hood zips in and I do not want half zippers on the hoods and half zippers on the liners.
I have been very pleased with the progress i.e. sales of the DUCKSBACK Alaska Range parka especially to military units.
Today I received an order for sleeping bags and the buying company who is reselling to the military is requiring a certificate stating that my sleeping bags are Berry Amendment Certified. So I can only assume the executive order that President Trump signed is having an immediate effect on what the military is now starting to purchase. At the very least I hope so.
I now have inventory of all sizes of DUCKSBACK pullovers and zippered jacket in stock in the black and olive green colors.
I am in the process of building inventory of some of the other jackets with the DUCKSBACK fabric as well.
FOLLOW UP
As of today I have yet to hear from one company wanting to take me up on my offer to test their fabric rain gear at my facility here in Grand Junction, CO. Actually I would have been surprised if any did take me up on the challenge. Shortly I may write why they let me say their product is bogus and do not come after me.
