DRY BOOTS
But first a testimonial or two
I ordered Ultima Thule boat foot bag. It shipped very quickly and already have I camped with it and in a snow storm over CO. It preformed just as described. I have owned other brand sleeping bags and been happy but this bag has raised the standard for me as to what a sleeping bag can be and should be! Many thanks to Wiggy's and their smarts I will be a return customer.

I just wanted to write to you and say I cannot believe that some idiot actually complained about one of your sleeping bags. I have been using a super light for 20 years and that thing has kept me warm on 7° days out in the desert night. I use it constantly I wash it every time it is the most wonderful sleeping bag in the world. My best friend has one too. I also have your Antarctic parka and it is the most wonderful warm thing in the world. I know an idiot like that guy that complained would not bother you but I just wanted to write and tell you that your products are the absolute best and I recommend them to everybody.

Can’t get any better than that as far as I am concerned.
Now for dry boots.
I read an article published by SGB today about one company that makes boot dryers. They make one that works very slowly over night with warm air and one that works quickly in about an hour with forced heated air. But neither works in the bush unless you have a very long extension cord.
This is the perfect reason to wear Lamilite socks and of course Lamilite boots if you happen to have a pair. All of the moisture from your feet will escape the boots more easily because you are not wearing wool socks. With the wool socks the moisture is contained in the boots.
Therefore when you take your boots off they will be far less damp and if you happen to have my boot dryers they will further absorb the moisture in the boots. And for complete drying place your boots in your Wiggy bag.
Now if you happen to be in a structure that has electricity you could plug in the electric boot dryers but they may very well do damage to your boots, not immediately but over time. You would also have to pack these boot dryers with you versus my boot dryers which weight a few ounces and pack down quite small.
Please note that once again the subject of how best to get rid of moisture rears its ugly head and some enterprising people work at producing machines to counter the problem. In dry environments the atmosphere wants that moisture so it is easy to rid yourself of it if you start out wearing garments that are oblivious to moisture meaning the materials do not absorb the moisture. If you wear wool fabric garments the atmosphere will take longer to take the moisture.
Even in a humid climate if the body produced moisture is not inhibited from moving away from your body staying dry becomes easier with Lamilite insulated garments.
In the real world wearing the proper garments makes all the difference between being comfortable or uncomfortable and in my opinion the vast number of companies that make claims about having materials or chemicals added to materials that will combat the moisture problem are "all wet”!
