IF ONLY HE HAD A WIGGY’S SLEEPING BAG
Hi Jerry,
If you haven’t seen this on today’s internet, I thought you’d enjoy it. Apparently, this guy almost froze to death in a storm. He said: “My sleeping bag and tent are just completely soaked and probably ruined, and I have no dry clothes.” Odds are good he had a down bag and jacket. Cheers, John

Not only a Wiggy’s sleeping bag but as much Lamilite insulated clothing as was necessary for his trek.
I say as much Lamilite insulated clothing as is necessary to use for this adventure.
I have been their and done that at 12000 feet with temps from -20 to wind chill of -50 in a blizzard.
The reason I survived as comfortably as I did was precisely because I was wearing Lamilite insulated clothing.
Yes, this guy was extremely lucky, and he is correct in assessing his situation knowing had he not been rescued he would have become coyote meat.
So, all of you who think that down is the way to go, just remember it is the way to go to becoming coyote meat or just plain old being comfortably cold.
And yes if he had a Wiggy’s sleeping bag he would have been warm and dry and waited out the storm and then find his way to safety even if it took a week. Wiggy’s bags keep proving they are outstanding survival bags!!!!!!
I rest my case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John thank you for the article.
