WIGGY’S DOMINATES ALASKA
Wiggy’s has been selling sleeping bags to people living in Alaska as well as people going to Alaska to hunt, because the guide services have been my unpaid sales agents.
We then had a deal with a retailer who wanted to purchase from me parkas on a private label basis because the oil patch workers needed an effective parka for the arctic winter conditions. He did okay but then unknown to me he had someone copy my parkas at a cheaper price.
When Wiggy’s Alaska opened Wiggy’s Alaska took all the business because I could deliver.
It is now about 5 years since I parted ways with Wiggy’s Alaska but people working the oil patch have not forgotten Wiggy’s parkas. I am now being asked for it again because they have never found a parka that will keep you warm at -50 F.
Every parka and bib I received back from Wiggy’s Alaska inventory was sold back to people in Alaska.
Our sleeping bags sales dwarf if not have or should have eliminated whatever else is available.
Sleeping bag sales just keep growing with the consumers but also I am finding contractors who have camps on the slope because the temperature in the camp building if the heaters aren’t working has gotten to minus 50’s, same as the outside.
Now I am looking forward to once again supplying the oil patch.
Now for a second testimonial about the Antarctic bag
It Will Blow Your Mind
I bought The Antarctic Sleeping Bag and believe me when’s I say it’s the best you’ll ever find, and it actually causes your body to generate and produce more body heat, it’s like a heated sleeping bag but better.
You don’t need to wear base layers of clothing or
you’ll get to hot, I didn’t say too warm, it’ll make you hot.
Better buy a larger stuff sack that comes with it .
I hope to take it winter camping this year just waiting for the bottom to fall
out of the temperature to try it out.
It’s way too big to take on a cross country backpacking expedition or even a
short hike due to the size and bulkiness of it.
Get some small ratchet straps to since it down, and study very carefully how to
unzip the two bags because if you don’t know how the zippers work with one
another you’ll pull your hair out try lying to figure it out, they’re not made
like normal zippers, they’re 100% better than any zipper I’ve ever experienced!
Once you understand how they work it’s no big deal, but you must be extremely
patient putting them back together.
If there is no heat source and the electricity goes out or your furnace runs
out of propane or natural gas, this sleeping bag will keep you really warm and
keep you alive.
It’ll even keep you alive if it gets rained on!
I’m not getting paid for this review.
You may never need this extreme of a bag, you may not even ever use it, but if
you need to, it will save your life.
I apologize for any and all grammatical errors in this post, couldn’t see well without
glasses. [I corrected his errors]
I’m surprised that as good as this product is that it doesn’t cost $1,000.00
bucks.
Derek Almon
The reason the Antarctic bag doesn’t cost$1000.00 is because the materials needed are not so fancy as the other companies use for their “no sleep sleeping bags” and what I use is chemical free, less money and better suited to make sleeping bags. The nylon I use I have used for over 40 years to include my years at Olam.
Today the Antarctic bag is $250.00.
Yu can now understand why Wiggy’s dominates Alaska!
