Word of Mouth Advertising

Just wanted to let you know that your sleeping bags are truly amazing and I know it is something you hear all the time, at least from people who have tried them out. It's one of those products that I can tell everyone I know to buy but they don't just get it from me telling them, they literally have to try it themselves. I usually only backpack in the winter and my sleeping bags keep me toasty warm in my Hennessey Hammocks perfectly fine without the need of anything else.

Update on your booties and socks

I have foot neuropathy, resulting in very cold feet even in warm weather,

LET ME TELL YOU,

These things are a wonder,

I have put the heating pad for my feet away for good, and can now sit in comfort at night, day, and hell any time I want.

The socks are everything and more than you claim them to be, As well as the boots.

When I first started Wiggy’s I was advertising in magazines such as Backpacker, Outside and Alaska to name a few. They did work to get my name into the market place. But as time went by I stopped spending the money because the return on investment was poor. Aside from that these publications like to review products for their readers but would never buy the product. The end result is that they only review products that are given to them. They always have good things to say about the products regardless how poorly they perform I will qualify that statement by saying it only applies to insulated products such as sleeping bags and outerwear. Once the father of one of the tested wrote to me about the performance of my Ultra-Light model bag which he used while kayaking and how well it performed even if it got wet. I have to believe he shared this information with his son all to no avail for me. These publications are very political.

Over the years I have learned that word of mouth advertising is the best form of advertising that any company can experience.

It is with great pride when I receive comments or testimonials such as I have presented here.
