Received this link to the outside magazine online article. It is lengthy but very informative about what is happening with production in the outdoor industry. There is a contradiction between what companies claim about taking care of workers and reality. When you read the article you will become aware of the fact that the expensive garments you buy are outrageously high priced because from start to finish because ALL COMPONENTS used are made by the poorest paid workers and then the products made from these components are also made by the poorest paid workers.
So those who support northface, luluman, Patagonia, Columbia and so many others are supporting almost slave labor conditions.
