TESTIMONIAL LETTER

Jerry,

I mentioned that I would be writing endorsements of my recent purchases. Here it is.  I hope you will pardon my loquacious response, but I find myself enthusiastic about your product. You may print all of this or selected parts or just toss it. In any event, I mean what I say. Many thanks for your assistance this morning"

"I’ve bought several of Wiggy’s products to prep for the old nasty weather of winter. We here, in The Springs, are amid a snowstorm with temps in the teens and wind in the 20’s.

I did the right thing and am here to tell you about it!

Let me begin by saying that Lamilite is better, for numerous reasons that you may review on Wiggy’s website, than anything I have used in cold weather. Silk, down, polypro, you name it I’ve used it. This stuff is superior. The best, bar none.

If you don’t know that, do some research, as I did, and pay attention to what you learn.

I am here to discuss the other points of Wiggy's product line.

I have a long history with Nomex. But only as a Fire-retardant fabric used in flight suits and gloves by Navair to protect Naval Aviators when (not if) your helo goes down and catches fire. Our flavor of Nomex was wear and tear resistant, TO A POINT. It had to be light and airy for the application of Navair, Jungle fighting does not need a lot of protection from the cold!! LOL! The Nomex that Wiggy uses is amazingly tough and wear and tear resistant. Since it’s Nomex, you will have no concerns about a spark from your campfire burning a hole in your brand new (expensive) puffy coat from a competitor.

Both products came with a “taffeta” lining that makes for easy on without pulling your sweatshirt sleeves up to your elbows.  It slides on nicely

Both products have pockets with the retainer rim designed so that your cellphone, or anything else like your damn keys, won’t slide out into the cistern as you sit down! LOL!

They both come with a collar that is high enough to contain body heat and shield against the wind nicely.

Both provide excellent warmth even at subzero temps. The difference in the 2 products is coverage. The Vest is a vest. The Shirt Jack is a Jacket and gives more coverage of the body.

Now for that nasty bugaboo, windproof. I can’t tell you how many manufacturers tell me “Its wind proof!” and, when you have just spent your mortgage money for this fine example of wonderfulness, it ain’t. When you complain, all you get is a stupid look!! LOL!

Wiggy’s stuff is windproof. Wiggy's uses a #10 Zipper on both products with a generous zipper flap! The products are long enough to protect against drafts but if you need something on your belt, you can’t access it without unzipping. BUT Wiggys zipper is a 2 way. You CAN access any equipment on your belt from the bottom of your Shirt Jack or Vest. It's the little thing!  It’s the “little”, thoughtful things that differentiate Wiggy’s products from competitors.

I can’t say that it’s waterproof because I didn’t stand under a #2 firehose to test that quality, but I CAN say that it is highly water resistant. When cleaning the snow off your rig in the AM you can put your forearm in the snow as you reach across with your snow brush to clean your windshield and it won’t come back soaked.

If you’re out in the weather and you SHOULD get your Shirt Jack Soaked, The Lamilite is a quick drying material that will keep you warm while it dries!! Pretty amazing!

Finally, Workmanship. For me, once past questions about the performance of the materials, probably the most important quality of the products. Once again, I can’t tell you how many of these high-priced manufacturers have incredibly shoddy workman ship. Yes, I’ve complained directly to the manufacturer and was rewarded with the Dreaded Stupid Look. NOT WITH WIGGYS

You can’t “inspect quality into a product, it’s got to be designed in. With Wiggy’s, it is."
