The World is Changing

The first comment I will make is that the USA, the country I was born into in 1941 at the start of World War two, is not the same country I am living in today nor has it been for quite a while.

Having said that I want you to know that I have decided to sell all models of sleeping bags at a 10 percent discount.

I believe the economy of our country is not very good to say the least.

I have acquired a substantial amount of inventory as I have reported for a lower enough price that allows me to offer these products at a discounted price.

Being a student of Ayn Rand and being an Objectivist I have learned to read between the lines of what I hear about the political world and how it affects the business world, and it is not encouraging. My business with Canadians is over unless they can buy and have me ship it to a US address where they can come across the border to pick it up. The same holds true for my sales in Europe.

I am first and foremost a businessman and my life are my business, and I do whatever is necessary to support my business. I purchased as much material that was offered to me at prices that were very attractive knowing that it would allow me to keep my prices steady, however I never thought I would have to make a further reduction in prices.

But as you know the world of business must act when corned by the political world, so I am acting. How long will this last is questionable.
