Women's Fishnet Long Underwear Bottoms FAQ
Why fishnet instead of regular long underwear?
Fishnet mesh lets moisture leave your skin freely and traps a layer of warm air. Cotton, wool, and silk absorb moisture, and tight synthetic knits hold it on the skin.
Does the fishnet stretch?
No. The fabric is not stretchy, so many people order one size larger than their usual long johns.
How should I layer over fishnets?
Wear loose fitting layers over them. Close openings to stay warm and open them to vent when you get warm.
Can I wear them in mild weather?
Yes. In mild or warm weather, wear them under a loose shirt or alone so your body can ventilate.

Every piece is built in our own shop.
Built once. Used for decades.
One insulation. Everything we make.
Most bags stitch right through their insulation. Every seam is a cold spot. Wiggy's Lamilite is one continuous layer with nothing stitched through it. It breathes, keeps working when it gets damp, and dries fast.
- For families: no cold spots, so everyone sleeps warm.
- In the field: keeps insulating when it's wet.
- For programs: in service for decades, not seasons.
- At the edge of the map: rated to -60°F.
