Description

Wiggy's Kodiak Mittens are mid-weight insulated winter mittens and one of our most popular models. They are a handy pick for skiing, shoveling the drive, or a cold walk.

  • Mittens beat gloves in the cold. They are much more efficient than gloves, so choose mittens for +25°F or lower.
  • Breathable shell. 3-Ply Supplex nylon shell that is vapor permeable.
  • Soft, grippy palms. NovaSuede palms dry soft after being wet.
  • Better dexterity. Articulated thumbs.
  • Proven lining. The same vapor permeable nylon taffeta used in our sleeping bags.

Sizes Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Made in Colorado, USA.

What every Wiggy's has in common

One insulation. Everything we make.

Most bags stitch right through their insulation. Every seam is a cold spot. Wiggy's Lamilite is one continuous layer with nothing stitched through it. It breathes, keeps working when it gets damp, and dries fast.

  • For families: no cold spots, so everyone sleeps warm.
  • In the field: keeps insulating when it's wet.
  • For programs: in service for decades, not seasons.
  • At the edge of the map: rated to -60°F.
Why Lamilite works
Most bags: stitched throughEvery seam pinches the insulation flat. That's where the cold gets in.
