Gaiters FAQ
Are the gaiters waterproof?
Yes. All of the materials are waterproof, urethane coated nylon and polyester.
What is the difference between insulated and non-insulated?
Insulated gaiters have a removable insulated piece that snaps inside, so you can wear them either way.
Why is the closure on the outside?
It works more efficiently there than down the middle, and the snaps keep the hook and loop flat and closed.
Do these have a military stock number?
Yes. NSN 8415 01 514 2422.

Every piece is built in our own shop.
Built once. Used for decades.
One insulation. Everything we make.
Most bags stitch right through their insulation. Every seam is a cold spot. Wiggy's Lamilite is one continuous layer with nothing stitched through it. It breathes, keeps working when it gets damp, and dries fast.
- For families: no cold spots, so everyone sleeps warm.
- In the field: keeps insulating when it's wet.
- For programs: in service for decades, not seasons.
- At the edge of the map: rated to -60°F.
